How to Use Physik Products

Quick Dry Gel

  • Apply a small amount to the affected area.  For example, to cover your forearm, you might use about 1.5 grams of gel.  One easy way of measuring this is using fingertip units.  A fingertip unit is the amount of gel, squeezed out in a straight line, that fits on your index finger between the last joint crease and the tip.  It’s about an inch, give or take.  Each fingertip unit is about 0.5 gms so 1.5 grams would be 3 fingertip units or about 1.5 inches.
  • Massage gently: When applying the gel, take the time to massage it gently into the skin. This will help it absorb better and increase blood flow to the area.
  • There is no need to wash your hands after application but no problem in doing so
  • Use as needed: You can apply four times a day or as instructed by your healthcare provider.
